Graduation Requirements (24 Total Units)

English / Language Arts: 4 units

Mathematics: 4 units

Science: 3 units (must include Biology)

Social Studies: 3 units total, including 1.0 unit of U.S. History, 0.5 unit of Economics, and 0.5 unit of U.S. Government

Physical Education or JROTC: 1 unit

Computer Science: 1 unit

Foreign Language or Career & Technology Education (CATE): 1 unit

Personal Finance / Financial Literacy: 0.5 unit

Electives: 6.5 units 

Grade Promotion / Advancement Requirements

• Grade 9: Successful completion of the 8th grade.

• Grade 10: Minimum of 6 units earned (must include 1 English, 1 math, and 4 other units).

• Grade 11: Minimum of 12 units earned (must include 2 English, 2 math, 1 science, 1 social studies, and 6 other units).

• Grade 12 (Senior status): Minimum of 18 units earned (must include 3 English, 3 math, 2 science, 2 social studies, and 8 other units)—alternatively, a student with a written plan with their school counselor to finish all 24 credits by the end of the year can be classified as a senior.
