4K - 1st Grade: 1 book
2nd Grade: 2 books
3rd - 5th Grade: 3 books
Students may check out a book(s) and keep it for one (1) week.
You may renew a book if you would like more time with it, but we ask that you renew no more than two (2) times for the same book to allow other students an opportunity to check it out.
Atlases and reference materials may not be checked out.
If you have book suggestions for the library, please let Mr. Ballinger know!
The library is a center of quiet learning and productivity. We engage in large-group read-alouds, collaborate in learning centers, and do research activities.
We treat all patrons with courtesy and respect. Please maintain "inside voices," walk at all times, and ask for help if you need it. Respect the library property (books, computers, furniture, etc).
If misbehavior occurs, Mr. Ballinger will use a 1-2-3 warning system, giving students a chance to change the behavior. On the 3rd offense, the student will be excluded from all library activity until they are asked to return. Further or more serious offenses will be referred to administration.
LIBRARY RULES
