View their student's information including demographics, attendance, classes, grades, lunch balances, and test scores
Apply or register their student to Special Focus schools and programs (Fine Arts Center, Career Centers, etc.)
Receive alerts and notifications regarding their students
View their student's school and contact information
Manage parent and contact information for their students
How do you get a Backpack Account?
You sign up for it once and it follows your child all the way through graduation in Greenville County Schools.
Backpack for Parents is as easy as clicking the link on your phone, tablet or computer. **Make sure you have your students ID number- get it from the front office, teacher, or on students report cards. If signing up online you will have to come to the front office to quickly verify your identity/proof of custody before you have access. Bring one of the following: state issued birth certificate, Government issued photo ID, Divorce/Separation Documents- if applicable. Once verified you are good to go and will be able to access from home.
You can see your child's grades & attendance, their schedule when they go to middle and high school, and can change who picks your child up from school through this easy to use app.
Backpack for Parents Kiosk in Front Office:
There is a kiosk in the front office for parents with less reliable internet access to sign up for Backpack for Parents. All parents will need a Backpack account for their child/ren. This is how you approve who can pick up your child, enter emergency information, access your child's grades, attendance and make any changes to your living status.
