Teaching reading intervention for kindergarten through third grade brings me great joy and purpose. With 23 years of experience in education, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and a Master’s Degree in Language and Literacy. My passion and expertise lie in helping young learners become confident, successful readers.

I am honored to be the recipient of the national Winslow Coyne Award for Literacy, which recognizes outstanding contributions to literacy education.

I am also a proud member of both the Palmetto State Literacy Association and the Greenville County Literacy Association, where I continue to grow professionally and stay connected to best practices in literacy instruction.

In addition, I am a Certified Literacy Coach, a Google Certified Educator, a Seesaw Pioneer, and I hold the Read to Succeed Reading Endorsement from the South Carolina Department of Education.
