About Me
Teaching first grade reading intervention brings me great joy. With twenty years of teaching experience, I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood and a Master's Degree in Language and Literacy. My expertise lies in teaching students how to read. Additionally, I am a Google Certified Educator, a Seesaw Pioneer, and I have obtained the Read to Succeed Reading endorsement mandated by the SC Department of Education.
Cory Fortune is my spouse, and we have been happily married for 17 years. Our wedding took place in Montego Bay, Jamaica. We are blessed with two wonderful children, Layla and Liliana. Layla is currently in 8th grade, while Liliana is in 4th grade. Our family also includes two adorable dogs named Ollie and Gus Gus. The girls absolutely adore them, and we spoil them rotten!
Collecting Russ Trolls brings me so much happiness, Target is my go-to shopping destination, purple is my absolute favorite color, Diet Mountain Dew is my go to beverage and Gummy Bears are my ultimate sweet treat!
