Course Information:

The aim of this class is the ensure a successful and rewarding transition into the high school classroom and to prepare the student for their sophomore year and the EOC. My goal for each student in the classroom is to improve in the areas of reading, writing, and grammar to guarantee success in the classroom and beyond. Since this class is Honors, pacing will be a bit different compared to a CP classroom. Students may have some homework to take home such as classroom readings or minor assessments not completed in class!

The core piece of my classroom expectations are for each student to display respect for me as the teacher, fellow classmates, and Wade Hampton High School itself. Respectfulness leads to a positive classroom environment that will thrive in not only academic aspects, but cultural ones that will allow each student to flourish.
