Education and Background:
Coming from a family of educators, the love for teaching and the students I encounter in my classroom started by watching my mother and father lead and teach in a way that displayed patience, empathy, and determination to improve. Adding all of those traits and my efforts to make my students laugh, it seemed destined that I would become an educator!
I am from Greenville County and have lived in Greer for the majority of my life. I went to Bob Jones University and played collegiate basketball at the school with my Mirror Image Twin brother. During my time at Bob Jones, I was a captain for the basketball team, held leadership roles at the school, and prepared for my career as an educator.
My hobbies include playing basketball and golf, biking, reading a good book, and playing video games.
Experience:
I was honored to win the Bob Jones "Student Teacher of the Year" award in 2024. I also will be the head coach of Wade Hampton's C-Team.
This will be my 2nd year at Wade Hampton High School. In the 24-25 school year, I was nominated for Greenville County's "First Year Teacher" Award.
