Hello! My name is Katie Fredrickson. I grew up in Powdersville and went to the Wren schools in Anderson District One. I graduated from Clemson University in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education. I have highly qualified certification in K-6 in both Florida and South Carolina.  I also graduated from Clemson again in 2020 with my Masters degree in Administration and Supervision!

After graduating with my Bachelor's degree, I moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and taught 4th and 1st grade in Broward County for three years.  I moved back to Greenville, South Carolina in 2013. This will be my 17th year of teaching. I taught at Hollis Academy for 3 years in 2nd grade. I taught 1st and 4th grade at Taylors for 4 years. I spent the last 4 years teaching 1st and 2nd grade in the Virtual Program. This will be my second year at Augusta Circle and I'm so excited for this year!

I've been married to my husband "Freddy" for seven years. We have the sweetest little boys. Tyler just turned four and Riley will turn two at the end of September! We also have a dog, Snoopy, at home with us. I'm also a bonus mom to his daughter, Melody. She will be 13 in September and she will be in 7th grade this year. 

When I'm not at work, I love going to Clemson games. I'm a HUGE Clemson Tiger fan! I also love spending time with my family and friends. I love going to the beach! I try to go back to Fort Lauderdale and visit my friends as much as possible.
