Hello, my name is Kirby-Annah Philpot and I am very excited to be teaching my Thirteenth year at Augusta Circle this year. For my first four years at ACE I taught fifth grade. This is my ninth year teaching second grade. I am the second oldest of seven children so helping with the youth has always been apart of my life.

I have grown up living in Greenville all of my life and I even attended Furman University where I received a major in Elementary Education and a masters in Early Childhood Education. Back in 2013, I did a student teaching in fifth grade with Margaret Murphy here at ACE  and I just fell in love with the wonderful community here.

Spending quality time with today's youth is one of my passions. While I do enjoy teaching students, I enjoy learning new things every day from them as well. I love for my classroom to be a family-oriented environment where everyone feels comfortable to be themselves and contribute to the class.

When I am not in the classroom teaching I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my french bulldog named Gucci (pictured here). I enjoy working out at OrangeTheory and going to sporting events for the Carolina Panthers and Carolina Gamecocks. I also enjoy catching up on my tv shows and playing pickle ball with my friends!

I am so excited for the 2025-2026 school year!
