My expectations for students (as I hope theirs are for me, too!) all revolve around everyone having integrity and respect. Learning a language is a very intense experience that involves making a lot of mistakes. We are going to be doing a lot of speaking and writing for practice, and I expect that my classroom will be a place that everyone can feel comfortable practicing their Spanish comfortably. Also, assessments will require speaking the language, so it is critical that students take every opportunity to practice! This comfort extends beyond speaking, writing and presenting in Spanish; it also means that we support each other on a human level as well.
