Greetings!

Hello! My name is Richmond McKelvey, and I am super thrilled to be your teacher/your child's teacher this year!  It’s going to be a fun year full of learning and new adventures, and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us.

My wife and I moved to Greer seven years ago. She is also a 4th grade teacher in Greenville County. We love this area of the South Carolina! There are so many things to do around here. 

This is my 18th year of teaching. This is my 7th year with Greenville County. I spent two years teaching in the district's virtual program. When I'm not teaching, you can find me traveling, hanging around a mountain stream or pond with a fishing pole in my hand, playing with my dog named Murphy, playing ice hockey, hiking, and remodeling our 125 year old cabin in the mountains,
