Greetings!

Hello! My name is Richmond McKelvey, and I am super thrilled to be your teacher/your child's teacher this year!  It’s going to be a fun year full of learning and new adventures, and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us.

My wife and I moved to Greer 6 years ago. She is also a 4th grade teacher in Greenville County. We love this area of the South Carolina! There are so many things to do around here. 

This is my 17th year of teaching. This is my 6th year with Greenville County. I spent two years teaching in the district's virtual program. When I'm not teaching, you can find me traveling, hanging around a mountain stream or pond with a fishing pole in my hand, playing with my dog named Murphy, playing ice hockey, hiking, hanging out with friends & family, and remodeling our 124 year old cabin in the mountains,
