My name is Ms. Fleming and I am super excited to be your 4th grade teacher this year! I have taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. I have loved being at Woodland for the last 3 years! I graduated from Furman University with a B.A. in Elementary Education as well as my Masters of Arts in Early Childhood Education at Furman. I can't wait to get to know everyone this year and experience such an exciting year! 

 Fun fact about me: 

• I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas but have come to love  living in South Carolina. 

• I have the best dog in the world named Willow! 

• I am a big Taylor Swift fan! I went to the Eras tour 3 times! 

• I love all things science and I spend my summers teaching summer camps at Roper Mountain Science Center! 

I look forward to working with you and your child to make this an exciting, challenging, and rewarding fourth grade year. My hope is to encourage each child to reach his/her full potential this year. It may not always be easy, but I am certain that by using the life skills of responsibility, flexibility, and organization all children will learn and grow in third grade.
