Hello!  Welcome to third grade!  I am so very excited and honored to be your child's teacher this year.  This marks my second year back at Augusta Circle.   I graduated from Clemson University in 2004 with an Elementary Education degree and began teaching at ACE in 2004 where I taught 5th and 2nd grade. I have a Masters in Education from Southern Weslyeyan University and received my National Board Certification in Elementary Education in 2008. I am also certified in the Orton Gillingham method of teaching reading and writing.

My husband, Martin, and I are proud parents of four children.  Mary Grace is in 8th grade at Hughes Academy, but Bennett (4rd grade), George (3nd grade), and James (1st) are all here at Augusta Circle.  You'll hear a lot about our two puppies this year, Emmy and Sandy.  Our family loves hiking in the mountains, bike riding along the Swamp Rabbit Trail and going to Fripp Island together. I love reading, attempting to garden, baking, cooking, and pickleball! 

I can't wait for a wonderful year together!
