Hello!  Welcome to third grade!  I am so very excited and honored to be your child's teacher this year.  This marks my first year back at Augusta Circle, and I am thrilled to be back.  I graduated from Clemson University in 2004 with an Elementary Education degree and began teaching at ACE in 2004 where I taught 5th and 2nd grade. I have a Masters in Education from Southern Weslyeyan University and received my National Board Certification in Elementary Education in 2008.  During my time out of the regular classrom, I tutored using the Orton Gillingham method and taught K3 and K5 at First Baptist Day School.  

My husband, Martin, and I are proud parents of four children.  Mary Grace is in 7th grade at Hughes Academy, but Bennett (3rd grade), George (2nd grade), and James (K5) will all be here at Augusta Circle.  You'll hear a lot about our golden retriever, Lily, this year too. :) Our family loves hiking in the mountains, bike riding along the Swamp Rabbit Trail and going to Fripp Island together. I love reading, running, and cooking!
