I’m thrilled to begin another exciting school year! This will be my 8th year in the classroom, and I’ve had the privilege of teaching first, third, and fifth grades. I grew up in Pinehurst, North Carolina, and now call Greenville home—along with my older sister and my sweet three-year-old niece, who brings so much joy to my life.

My passion for teaching began at a young age. I spent countless hours playing “school” with my baby dolls and stuffed animals, and my dad even built podiums to match my height as I grew. Those early experiences sparked a love for education that continues to grow each year, and I’m so grateful to now share that love with my students.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Biology from UNC-Charlotte and went on to complete a Master’s in Elementary Education from UNC Pembroke.

Most recently, I completed the Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) program in Educational Leadership at Clemson University and have begun working toward my doctoral degree. I truly have a lifelong love of learning!
