Hello! I am excited to spend the 2025-2026 school year at AJ Whittenberg Elementary School of Engineering. I was born and raised in Greer, South Carolina. I graduated from Greer High School and continued my education at North Greenville University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I earned my master's degree in Classroom Leadership from Southern Wesleyan University. I joined the AJ Whittenberg Family in 2011 and taught second grade for two years and third grade for eleven years. I was awarded the 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year voted on by my colleagues. This upcoming school year will be my 15th year of teaching.
I married my best friend, Ryan Anders. We have two children, Ezra and Eliza, and one fur baby named Sammy. During our free time, Ryan and I enjoy watching CLEMSON football, GO TIGERS! When we are not watching football, we love traveling and making memories with our family.
Throughout my education, every one of my teachers and professors made a difference in my life. It is my goal to make a difference in your child’s life. I enjoy teaching and look forward to working together as a team to make a difference in your child’s academic and social success.
