Art Monitors 2021
The art monitors are a team of 6 girls who help Mrs Goldberg and the school with all it's arty needs. They are the people who put up and take down the art round the school and have helped with many ideas for Art Week. This week they have organised many fun activities for the school to take part in including: Art scavenger hunts, painting rocks and drawing competitions. They have also contributed ideas for the schools' vegetable garden. Here is a little something from each art monitor:
I enjoy being an art monitor because I get to help out behind the scenes and I enjoy halping people and I also love art. Another reason I enjoy it is because I am able to organise the art room to make it a fun place for everyone to do art.

Being an art monitor has taught me that art is not just about painting or drawing something it's about the time and effort you put into something that you did that represent you. I've learnt that the world seems brighter when you've just made something that wasn't there before. When I first heard of an art monitor I thought you hung up art and things like that but it's not its the opportunity to be creative and have fun while doing work. Being an art monitor is an amazing job.

I love being part of the art monitors because it's nice when each one of us art monitors contribute to something to make the school fun and exciting.
I like to see how everyone always has different ideas and we all have our own things that we good at.
I love being an art monitor because it's really fun to work as a team to create something great for our school
-Aalya Latiff
As a art monitor I have learnt that art is a lot more than what meets the eye. Its about expressing yourself through colours and shapes. Your artwork also doesn't have to be perfect it can be as creative as you want to make it.
-Rachel Peterson
I love being an art monitor because I can help Mrs Goldberg and I feel like I am making a difference to the school. I enjoy making the school look colourful and coming up with fun ideas that everyone can take part in. I love being part of such a creative team.
-Sophie Walters
I like being an art monitor because I get to help with making the school colourful and beautiful. It makes me happy to see the school so bright and know that I helped to do it.
