West Greene Elementary PE-Jump Rope Ninjas
For the month of February, we have been focusing on our jump rope skills in PE. Jump rope is one of those skills that can be very challenging and it takes lots of practice. We have started an activity called Jump Rope Ninja. This is an activity that allows each student to excel at their own pace and reach their own personal goals. It also gives students the opportunity to earn bracelets/belts when they can complete so many jumps in a row without a mistake. They start at the white belt and must earn all the other belts before they can try for their black belt. The black belt is the last belt they can earn. 3rd grade students must complete 75 jumps in a row to earn their black belt. Second grade students must complete 50 jumps in a row to earn their black belt. We want to congratulate the following students for earning their BLACK BELT during our Jump Rope Ninja time.
