Dear Parent/Guardian,
Greetings from the PE department. One of the best things you can do for your mental, physical and emotional health is to do some activity. I know we are missing out on our normal routines and our students' regular PE times. In what is proving to be uncertain and challenging times, here are some links to PE and general resources that may come in handy over the next couple of weeks. Sworkit-Sign up for Sworkit -Click on try it for free and then sign up. They have free kids workouts. Each workout is customizable. This is great because you can replace activities that may be too hard. It also works if the activity is too easy and you need it to be more challenging. They have student examples for each activity. This is a great resource.
Fitboost: https://fit.sanfordhealth.org/resources/fitboost-activity- This is another great resource that gives you a warm-up, a movement, and a cool down. Just click on “Let’s go” and that’s it. It will explain the activity/movement then the timer will start.
