MagicSchool is an AI (Artificial Intelligence)-powered education platform that aims to make teaching and learning that little bit easier. MagicSchool can help educators and staff lesson plan, differentiate, write assessments, write IEPs, communicate clearly, and more.
Currently, MagicSchool is available only for staff and in small group pilots for students.
Staff can access MagicSchool in Classlink or by visiting (and bookmarking) app.magicschool.ai. Choose Sign in with Google using your Greece Google account.
If you have not yet viewed the GCSD Intro to AI video please watch below.
Teachers who have used MagicSchool and are interested in piloting MagicStudent with their students (grades 3-12) should contact their ITT.
See below for more information about how MagicStudent works!
Interested teachers who have used MagicSchool themselves first, should contact an ITT to join the pilot group! Once you have been invited to the Google Classroom, you will have 3 short tasks to complete before using MagicStudent with your students:
Complete the brief MagicStudent Educator Course: Level 1 through MagicSchool
Explore the Student Tools and share ideas
Agree to the following:
NON-NEGIOTIABLE: Ensure rooms are only active during class time (remember to pause or lock at the end of each session)
Facilitate the 30-45 minute Introduction to AI lesson with your students (linked in the Classroom)
Create separate 'rooms' for each section
Actively monitor student use on the dashboard
Seek support from your ITT (co-teach, co-plan, etc) and provide feedback soon after your experience (in Classroom)
Whenever using AI, you should adhere to certain best practices for its use. See the important descriptions in the poster to the right.
