WHAT IS Lightspeed Classroom Management AND WHY USE IT?
LCM is a tool to help teachers easily monitor their students and keep them safer online. It is typically used as a monitoring tool, and in some cases can be used to restrict a student's online activity while in school, if needed.

Lightspeed Classroom is available to all Greece teachers, and other staff as needed.
You can only schedule a session in 15 minute increments up to 2 hours.
Lightspeed Classroom is available to teachers on school days from 7 AM- 4 PM.
IMPORTANT: Only run Lightspeed Classroom sessions on students that are your responsibility and only when they are your responsibility.

In most cases, your Infinite Campus will by synced nightly with Lightspeed Classroom.
Monitor more, Restrict Less. The least restrictive way to use Lightspeed Classroom is to turn on a session and review the student's history AFTER the session to reinforce student engagement. You can also monitor the session in real time to observe and provide redirection to the students who need it. Lightspeed Classroom also allows the ability to restrict sites and other features that help teachers manage Chromebook usage for their classroom.
