Kami is an online document annotation and markup tool. You can highlight, underline, and strikethrough text in PDF and other document formats. You can also add text boxes, shapes, and images. Kami works with Google Drive and Google Classroom. With Kami, you can easily collaborate on documents in the classroom while avoiding the hassles of printing documents.
Students must be signed into their District account in Chrome in order to access Kami.
Kami will show up as an extension that we push to the Chrome browser.
In most cases any time a teacher assigns work as a PDF students will use Kami to complete their work.
You can turn in you assignments from Classroom directly from Kami.
If a teacher says they do not see your work, it is possible that the student has downloaded the PDF and inadvertently created a second copy of the PDF. In this case, you will need to find the copy with your work and go directly to the assignment in Classroom and then attach that copy when you are ready to turn it in.
