Parents are an integral part of the Greece Marching Band and have a pivotal role to play. Without the assistance and cooperation of band parents, there would be no chance to reach the level of success that we aspire to achieve. All parents, siblings and friends are strongly encouraged to assist. Each band member’s parent/guardian is required to assist with at least one marching band event during the season. There are many ways that you can participate!

Pit Crew
Pit Crew
Greece Marching Bands “Pit Crew” is one group that seems to have a lot of fun. They are a group of parent volunteers who are responsible for loading the percussion equipment and props onto the truck, unloading and setting up the equipment (on the field) for the band’s performances at competitions and parades and loading the truck again for the trip home. Naturally the job is made easier as the number of volunteers grows. You may sign up to be a full time or part time roadie-no experience necessary! If you are interested in being a roadie this year, please let the us know.

Do you have your CDL License? If so then we have an opportunity for you. We are always looking for someone to drive our equipment to our weekly competitions during the fall season. If you are interested in being a driver this year, please let us know.
Prop Crew

Are you handy with power tools? Do you like to paint? If so then this is the place for you! Our amazing prop crew is charged with building our props for our our fall competition if this sounds like some that may interest you, please let us know.
Uniform Crew

Do you have experience with a sewing or alterations? Then our uniform crew is the place for you! These dedicated group of individuals, measures all our performers in the spring and alters any uniforms to make sure they fit just right. If you are interested in being part of the uniform crew this year, please let us know.

Do you love taking pictures or videos professionally? Do you own your own professional video/photography gear? The GMB is always looking for individuals with this talent to take photos and videos of practices or performances.If you are interested in being part our photographer/video crew this year, please let us know.

The GMB boosters are seeking volunteers to help with the Fundraising . This group of individuals will help brainstorm, distribute, run and organize the various fundraising campaigns throughout the season. Any help is greatly appreciated. You can help on one fundraiser or all of them, it’s up to you!
