Kristen currently works for BioTel Research, Rochester, NY. The company provides Global clinical trials services for large pharmaceutical companies where she is a Study Documentation Writer and Ultrasound Imaging Training Specialist.
She began her interest in colorguard as a member of the Bishop Kearney High School Winterguard. Since then she has choreographed and instructed for multiple New York State colorguard programs including Orchard Park High School, Medina High School, Eastridge High School. Kristen was also a performer, choreographer and instructor for the Empire Statesmen Drum and Bugle Corp. She is currently in her First year of being the Director for the Greece Blue Knights Marching Band.
In her free time, she loves spending time traveling.
Amber Lucas is the Assistant Director of the Greece Blue Knights Marching Band. She is currently employed in the Spencerport Central School District as a middle school band director, where she works with 6th grade students in band rehearsals and group lessons. In 2024, she joined the Greece Marching Band staff as a woodwind instructor, dedicating her time to music direction and drill instruction.
Amber graduated in 2024 with a Master of Music in Clarinet Performance from Michigan State University and in 2022 from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Music Education. Her background in the marching arts includes four years with the Penn State Blue Band, where she traveled to venues across the country to perform at football games and bowl games, and held leadership positions such as music section leader.
In her free time, Amber enjoys making music, paddleboarding, and playing with her dog, Moose.
Mr. Nicholas Coirazza was born and raised in Greece, NY, and is a graduate of Athena High School. Nick was a trumpet player and proud member of the Greece Marching Band when he was in high school. He was part of the first field band in Greece to compete at the NYSFBC Championships at the Syracuse Carrier Dome. It was here that he found his passion for music and pursued a degree in education. In May of 2013 he graduated from Roberts Wesleyan with his degree in Music Education where he studied trumpet under Paul Shewan. In 2018 Mr. Coirazza Graduated from Nazareth College with his master’s degree in Educational Technology.
This will be Mr. Coirazza's 12th year teaching in the Greece Central School District. Currently, he is the Band Director at Craig Hill Elementary. He has also been the instrumental instructor at the Greece Fine Arts Camp in past years.
In his spare time Mr. Coirazza maintains a private studio of instrumentalists, performs for various community musicals and performances and is active in the music ministry at his church. When he is not teaching, he loves to spend his free time with his wife, Kaitlyn, and their three girls.
This is Mr. Coirazza's 8th year on staff with the GMB. Previously, Mr Coirazza was the Director of the GMB from 2018- 2022. He is very excited to serve in his first year as program coordinator and for the continued success ahead.
