Thank you for your interest in the Reflections Program. Information about the 2026-2027 school year Reflections contest will be posted here soon!
PTA Reflections Program
The Reflections Program is a National PTA arts contest that encourages students to explore their creativity through the arts. Each year, students are invited to create and submit original works of art inspired by a common theme. Categories include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. All entries must be submitted online. If your project is a physical creation (such as artwork, photography, or writing on paper), please scan or photograph it clearly before uploading. Digital projects (like film, music, or literature typed on a computer) may be uploaded as they are.
Students need three things to submit an entry:
The official PTA Reflections entry form
Great Oaks' Google submission form
The completed reflections entry
National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life.
Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.
