The Vermont Golden Dome Book Award was created to honor excellence in children's literature. Each year since 1957, Vermont students in grades 5 and 6 have selected their favorite book from a list of nominees. 

Miss Rodolfy challenges her 5th and 6th grade students to read as many Golden Dome books as they can! She offers a prize to the student from each grade that reads the most! 

 The Red Clover Book Award began in 1997! 10 picture books a year are selected by a committee of librarians. Students in grades K-4 are encouraged to read them. All Vermont Elementary Students get to vote for their favorite book.
