Tips on Fundraisers for TGGP:
Schools, Churches, Community Groups of all kinds often ask us how they can support TGGP with a Drive and/or Fundraiser. Here are some tips on how to best partner with us for a successful Fundraiser.
Or, click this link for Tips on Drives for TGGP.
Get the word out - Decide on a date and time line. As soon as possible, distribute flyers, and use emails, newsletters, social media, etc. to encourage students, membership, and staff to donate. Outreach is key. This also circulates broad awareness of our cause and our Mission. Clearly state your goals!
IMPORTANT: Work with TGGP to use appropriate branding.
Speaking engagement - Your team can connect face-to-face with a mission leader. Ask us to come to your location and speak about what TGGP does and why your support helps make such a difference in the lives of thousands, every year. We can also arrange to appear over Zoom.
Make it easy - If collecting funds to deliver in one lump sum, you might consider using a Venmo or PayPal account for your organization. Many people prefer to use a QR code to scan and send funds instead of bothering with Cash/Check. TGGP has its own donation QR code as well, and we may be able to integrate it into your approach.
Fund-A-Need - If your group wishes, you can raise funds for one or more of our Fund-A-Need projects.
Contact us for more details. For example:
Shelter Care Packages - $250-$500
Therapist’s Friend - $125-$500
Clean & Tidy Office - $200 & $300
Fund an Intern - $250/month
More ways to give - Gift Cards:
Organize a collection of Gift Cards from different vendors. (We will provide a list of ones that are most useful.) $5-$10 value each, these are used for our Operation Esteem Program to incentivize youth, ages 12-24, to return for counseling and medical follow up services. This is a very valuable tool for healing, and we need this support all year round.
We also accept Amazon Gift Cards in any denomination.
Social Media - With your permission, we can post photos and say Thank You via our social media profiles and in turn raise awareness about your group’s philanthropy in the community. Be proud of what you accomplished.
Get creative - If you have the ability to host a larger event and want to collaborate with us, please reach out to discuss. We are open to new ideas.
