Project Work
Watch the documentary on owls. Pause the video as often as you need to write down facts about owls. After you've gathered all your information and consider yourself an "expert" on owls, be innovative and create a way of showcasing or teaching others all you've learned about owls. It could be that you make a poster, diorama, powerpoint, or a model of an owl using different materials such as clay, paper mache, or perhaps you sew a stuffed owl. You might also think about creating a video of a puppet show where owls have a funny discussion that reveals all things wonderful about owls. Or you might video yourself dressed up as an ornithologist (that is someone who studies birds) and have a sibling interview you. This is your opportunity to be innovative and create a project in a way that interests you! Your completed projects will be placed on our website for everyone to see! Good luck and have fun!
