This month: African Religion, Edward Allen Carter Jr., Malcolm X, and Shirley Chisholm.
In February, we oversee Black History Month, a month dedicated to recognizing and appreciating black culture and historic figures. From politics and religion to pop culture, African Americans have had a prolific impact on America. The long standing history of racism in American society makes it all the more important to spotlight black stories and accomplishments. Here at The Scroll, we hope to celebrate this month by emphasizing the incredible impact African Americans have made on America with a collection of black history based articles.
