Here are a few tips on how to get the most out of your experience in the Taylorsville High Business and Marketing Program:
Through the Business and Marketing program there are some awesome opportunities to learn how business skills are marketed and used in everyday life. You will also have the opportunity to be a member of the DECA (marketing club) and/or FBLA (business club) . Every day, DECA and FBLA members all over the state and nation are becoming better leaders, winning awards by applying the knowledge they gain in class to competitions, developing career skills, serving their communities, and making friends in their schools, state and from around the nation!

Plan on taking a Business and Marketing Class Every Semester!
You can job shadow for 2 - 4 hours then have your adult email Mrs. Jones at kbjones@graniteschools.org to report the date, how many hours (at least 2), and what you experienced at the job shadow or service.
You could ask them questions such as:
- what personal trait characteristics support these types of jobs
- what secondary certifications are needed for these types of careers
- what degrees are needed for these types of careers
