Hi Parents,
Welcome to First Grade! It's going to be a fun year filled with lots of learning and much "bucket filling". We are going to learn how to fill each others (invisible- good feelings) buckets, not be a bucket dipper, and how to put a lid on our invisible buckets so that it can't get dipped by unkind words or acts by others. We will be having full days of learning and fun so don't be surprised when your child comes home tired after school. I love having my student's families join us so if there is ever something you would like to share with us that pertains to our learning, I'd love to have you come teach us. I enjoyed meeting you all at Back-to-School night and I'm excited for this new school year and even more excited to get to know you and your child.
