Hi Parents,
The month of May has been so busy. I apologize for not being consistent with my daily "table talk" texts. Lars was our VIP of the week last week and we had a great time planting flowers for his Discovery Day. Thanks to his parents for coming and helping him with his Discovery Day. We have finished our end of year testing and this week we will be wrapping up our learning in all subjects and finishing up some end of year projects.
Thank you so much for making me feel so appreciated with all of your kind notes and wonderful gifts I received for teacher appreciation week. I feel so fortunate to have had such great students with such supportive parents. It has been an especially sweet year this year with this group of students. It's hard to believe but here we are, now heading to the end of this school year with only single digits on our count down to summer. This year has gone by so quickly and I am not ready to say goodbye to this darling group of kiddos.
Thank you for sharing your child with me. I always tell my students to come back and visit me and I tell them "once a student of mine, always a friend of mine." That goes for you parents as well. Thank you for your kind friendship. I hope you will keep in touch and stop by and visit me often.

5/18 Monday- P.E. and Story Activity with Mrs. Miles

5/20 Wednesday- Maddie's Birthday, STEAM, and Orchestra Concert @3pm
5/21 Thursday- Library and special activity with Mrs. Audd, Last day with our Wasatch Jr. High Math friends
5/22 Friday- Early Dismissal Day @1:40
5/25 Monday- Memorial Day - No school
5/26 Tuesday- *Turn in May Reading Calendars. Art with Sam's grandma - Grandma Rosie and today is BEACH DAY. Students can wear shorts and flip flops (no swim suits) and bring a towel. The school Expectation Celebration party with Ms. Anderson will be running through the sprinklers at 3pm. Skyline High Graduates will be visiting us wearing their caps and gowns which will be a special treat.
5/27 Wednesday- STEAM and Hoping to have earned our Movie/Ice Cream class reward party and it's Cleaning Day! We will be cleaning out our desks and taking all remaining papers home. If you can help supply ice cream or toppings, please let me know.
5/28 Thursday- School Movie Day and Field Day. Kids can bring a pillow and stuffy for the movie.
5/29 Friday- Last Day of School! Bring a sharpie marker or pen to sign yearbooks. Some kids ask me if they can have their t-shirt signed by friends. Please address this at home as to whether your child is able to have their shirt signed by friends or not. End of year assembly starts at 9:30 am. Early Dismissal Day @1:40pm.
