Classroom Rules
Hello Matey! Welcome to Mrs. Bryan's Class! We are going to have a great adventure, learning a lot of things, getting better at being organized and making new friends.
Please take a moment to glance through my classroom procedures.
Dear Parents,
Thanks to all of you who regularly help your child with the homework review and see to it that (s)he understands what we have covered in class. It is a tremendous help to know that each child gets extra individual attention at home. There is no substitute for that and it makes a big difference in the progress of our class. Keep up the great work! I also appreciate you for allowing your child to have computer time to work on all the online activities.
Special Year 2022-2023
There has been a lot of changes this year. We have making a lot of progress in technology! This year will learn to be patient and have respect towards others. We will learn to care about ourselves and others to be safe. We must learn about hygiene and how this is so important for us and our families.
We need to care of each other!
Masks
You may wear masks at all times if you feel safe, however it is not considered mandatory this school year. Wash your hands and use hand sanitizer very often. No handshakes, no hugs, do not touch other peoples belongings. Keep your distance where ever you are.
Pencils
There are enough pencils to use in the classroom. If the pencil lead breaks or worn out, exchange your pencil for another one.
Sorry sharpener are not allowed in my classroom . They distract you and are messy.
Restroom and Drinks
We go to the bathroom before and after every recess. If you need to go during the class time, there's a signal to avoid interrupting (crossing two fingers). Water fountains are now available, you may bringing a water bottle if you wish. I recommend the water bottles that you can take sips without opening them to avoid accidents. Please do not bring metal containers they are noisy!
DO NOT share your water bottle with anyone.
If you need to drink water and the teacher is not teaching a lesson you may stand up and get some water.
We do not interrupt a class instruction until the teacher finishes. We do not want to miss important information.
Exiting and Entering the Room
When we leave our room, we will have certain order to line up. If we go to have lunch, we make sure our hands are clean. When we come back to our room, we disinfect our hands before entering.
Lunch
When we enter the lunch room, we make sure our hands are cleaned, There are hand sanitizer dispensers to make sure you didn't forget to clean your hands. You are allowed to bring a lunch box from home. There are specific seats to be at lunch room to keep distance. Remember we do not share or accept anything handed from our friends. We do not share chips, candy, fruit or any other items brought from home in your lunch box.
Dismiss
When the day ends, we make sure we packed our Go Home Blue Folder with our HW or important papers for our parents. in it We clear our desks to clean surfaces with disinfectant that our teacher will spray. We check we are taking home our jackets too.
Don't forget your water bottle, since you have to refill it from home.
