An interactive day of activities and competitions

REGISTER BY FEBRUARY 29, 2024 (Monday)

 MESA Day 2024 will take place on Monday, March 18th, 2024. Each team must consist of 2 to 4 members with each school bringing no more than 5 teams (20 students).

  Notes for Advisors:

1. Educational Equity will arrange buses for Granite School District teams. 

2. Each school will be responsible for bringing their own lunches. 

3. We will need counselors and advisors to facilitate the events as assigned.

4. If your school has more than 20 students that want to participate, please consider the following when deciding which teams to bring: 

a. Consider holding an intra-club competition to determine which teams to bring. 

b. If a team has prepared a Stick Bridge project, please prioritize bringing that team. 

c. Consider the students’ club attendance. 

 

The goal of this event is to bring students and advisors together to compete in MESA events sharing creations and knowledge gained from being involved with MESA Utah.

 

Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winning teams for middle schools and high schools.

Founded in 2003, the Utah Cultural Celebration Center is  a  West Valley City venue where cultures from all over Salt Lake County come together to celebrate events. Our central location, spectacular view of the Wasatch Mountains  and amenities makes it the perfect place for MESA Day.

 We need to know how many students your school is planning to bring! Schools are responsible for bringing student lunches.
