Students will be expected to carry only school-related materials in their bags. If the administration has reason to believe this is not the case, backpacks may be searched. It is also the responsibility of the student to bring a backpack that is reasonably sized. “Reasonably sized” means that a student's bag should not exceed the standard pack that can be worn around the shoulders. Typically these packs are 22 x 14 x 9 inches (give or take). Excessively large backpacks, duffle bags, and roller backpacks are prohibited. Each teacher will have expectations for backpack organization and placement in their rooms that students will be expected to follow.
