Write About It With Google Docs uses a Google Docs with 1 cell tables used as text boxes for students to write about the 2 pictures in each section of the Google Doc.

What Makes Me Happy Writing Activity Example

Students type their name, insert a photo of themselves using the built in camera if available or bring a saved photo in from Google Drive and then write about the things that make them happy.

This type of Google Doc uses 1 cell tables for the text boxes. You can add a 1 cell table inside of another 1 cell table to offset the white text box with another box filled with color.

My Science Word Cloud Example

There is an Add On for Google Docs called Word Cloud Generator. You can go to Add Ons in the Google Doc menu and search for Word Cloud Generator. It is pretty basic.

Here is another Word Cloud Website called wordclouds.com that has more bells and whistles. Your students can create word clouds with this web tools and bring them into their Google Document.
