HOW TO APPLY

Granite School District Nutrition Services Department applies to participate in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) annually in March.  The Utah State Board of Education Child Nutrition Program reviews each application and awards schools representing the highest percent of students certified for free and reduced-price benefits program.

To be eligible to participate in the FFVP a school must:

• be an elementary school (K-8)

• participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP)

• have a free and reduced lunch percentage of 50% or more
