Why isn’t the submit button working?
Submissions will not be accepted after the deadline. Teams who miss the submission deadline will need to provide ESY services at their school location.
Why are the deadlines so hard and fast?
Current deadlines can be found in this year's ESY emailed memo, on the ESY website, or in the procedure manual.
Deadlines need to be adhered for two reasons:
The USBE requires "ESY eligibility decisions and prior written notice of ESY programs shall be provided to parent(s) or adult student in sufficient time to permit accessing dispute resolution options of the procedural safeguards, in the event of a dispute."
The complexity of creating an ESY program for all qualifying students requires an extensive amount of work and time.
What if I have a student move in who qualifies for ESY but the deadline for submission has passed?

Will materials sent for use during ESY be returned?
Every effort will be made to return all materials in good condition, HOWEVER, we can not guarantee things will not be lost or damaged. Please DO NOT send irreplaceable items or items that are the personal property of the teacher or other team member.
Can students share materials at ESY?
No.
Students may or may not be placed with the same teacher during ESY so sharing materials will not be possible. Please assume that students will not be able to share and send individual items for each student.
