Kids need time to be kids and enjoy their time outside of school! The only homework that I ask students to complete is reading at least 20 minutes every night. Starting the first day of school, students will bring home a reading log where the amount of minutes read each night must be written and signed by an adult. Their reading minutes should be brought back to school each day. Students who bring their signed reading minutes daily will be able to attend quarterly class parties.
