Homework
Homework
Homework generally consists of reading 20 minutes each night and 10 minutes of math practice. Details regarding math practices, as well as occasional additional homework assignments, will be communicated over Class Dojo and the weekly class newsletter.
If your student has misplaced their reading tracker, you can get a generic version of it here and fill in the dates for the week.

To the left you will see Woodstock's school-wide "decision tree," which tells teachers which decision to make when responding to student behavior. In the top box, we have the class expectations. The following flow chart shows what students can expect if they are or are not meeting expectations throughout the day.

Proficiency based grading
Granite School District uses a proficiency based grading system rather than the tradional system of giving grades A-F. In this system, a 3 is the goal, and 4 means the student is achieving above and beyond. Please see the below graphic and link to district explainer for more information.
