Day Three 2025

Third Day of Adapted PE for secondary. Today we will learn our PE procedure and expectations - and of course we will get to move around a bit too

Procedure 

• Check in 

  • Find your name and move it from RED to GREEN.

    • Staff please help students succeed.

      • verbal prompt. 

      • gesture in the direction of their name.

      • bring the student two names to choose from. 

      • hand over hand.

• Start the first activity

  • Walk around the gym counterclockwise. 

    • When music stops, please come sit on the bench.

Main Activity 

Scooter color sorting 

• Sit on your pockets on a scooter. 

• Scoot to the middle of the gym and pick up ONE beanbag animal. 

• Identify the color, then take the beanbag animal to the hoop that is the same color. Stay seated on your scooter. 

• Place the beanbag animal in the matching hoop (No throwing) 

• Return to the middle and pick up another beanbag animal. 

Staff: Please help students indentify the color of the animal and find the coresponding hoop. If needed, let them pick from two options.
