Instructions for Gathering 2nd Grade Milestone Data

Oral Reading Fluency (Assess by October 15th)​

• Use recent p.m. (progress monitoring) for the Milestone, recent p.m. (progress monitoring) for Q3​

• Follow the same script as used in Acadience Reading:​​

Say: “I would like you to read a story to me. Please do your best reading. If you do not know a word, I will read the word for you. Keep reading until I say "stop." Place the passage in front of the student.​

Say:​ “Put your finger under the first word (point to the first word of the passage). Ready, begin.​”
