About Ms. Jacobs

Dear Families,

Welcome to Kindergarten at Butcher-Greene Elementary! The 2026-27 school year is my 12th year in the Grandview School District and my 21st year in the public school classroom! I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology. During my career, I've also taught for a few years in first grade and second grade.

I love teaching Kindergarten the most and have taught it the longest! I enjoy it so much because of all the growth students make from the beginning to the end of the year. It's awesome to see those lightbulb moments that come so frequently with Kindergarten students!

In my life outside of school, I stay busy as a mom of four. I also enjoy reading, trivia, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with family and pets.
