Grades will be divided into two categories:

• 60% - Daily Grades (Daily Work in Class, Participation, and Homework)

• 40% - Test and Project Grades (Major Tests, and Projects)

• Procedures and Rules

GISD Cell Phone Policy:

• Students must keep all personal electronic devices—including cell phones, smart watches, tablets, wireless headphones, and other similar items—stored only in a backpack or purse and turned off during the school day.

Absences/Late Work Policy:

• If you are absent, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to find out what class work you missed and get it turned in.  I WILL NOT seek you out.  Check Google Classroom every day.  Grades on work turned in LATE will be reduced by 10 points each day after the due date.  Missing assignments will be entered into Skyward as a "0" until the work is submitted.

Tardies:

• If you aren’t in my room when the bell rings, you are tardy.  If you are more than 10 minutes tardy, you will be counted absent.  

Food & Drink:

• All drinks must have spill-proof lids.

• No food, period.
