Assalamu Alaykum, dear 6A & 6B parents,

Welcome back to another exciting school year! I hope your summer was filled with adventure, relaxation, happiness, and good health, Ameen!

My name is Dana Helweh, and I will be your child's homeroom for 6A and 6A, and 6B mathematics teacher for this year. With a Master's degree in Educational Leadership, two credentials in Arabic and Mathematics, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from San Jose State University, I bring over 14 years of teaching experience to the classroom. I am thrilled to be joining your child on their educational journey.

To me, every child is special and has unique talents. I hope to build a strong connection with each student and to create a classroom environment filled with creativity, excitement, and encouragement. Please don't hesitate to share any information to help me build a strong connection with your child. To me, open communication with parents is a strong key to a successful year. So please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, or to clarify anything to me, Insha Allah.

Help your child build strong healthy habits like time management when doing homework; please, make sure that they get plenty of sleep, Insha Allah.

I assure you that we will work hard together to educate and inspire your children. We look forward to an amazing year ahead, filled with curiosity, discovery, and plenty of laughter, insha Allah!

Lockers: Numbered lockers are preferred; make sure your child keeps their code is a very safe place so they do not forget it.
