Fire Truck Visit
On Wednesday Sep 24 we had Fire Truck visit for Pre-K to 3rd grades, it was a fun informative experience for all students alhamdu Allah.

Eagle Run Kick off: Our students go twice a week for fun movement activities led by PTO , thank you PTO for engaging our students in fun activities. please help us to reach our goal.

On Friday August 29 we had a fire drill practice school wide, where all students , teachers , staff and administration took part of it . As GIS we like to train and prep our students how to act during emergences such as fire, outdoor danger or outside bad smell or earthquakes . Today was a big success. All pre-k students were cooperative, patient and followed the rules mashaa Allah .

Wed 9/17: Minimum Day (Dismissal at 12:30) for full day students and 12:00 noon for half day students.

Character Education Program Theme 1: Friendliness
At Granada, we believe that strong character is just as important as academic success. Now in its second year, the Granada Character Education Program, inspired by the book Cultivating Character, aims to help our students and staff embody prophetic values in everyday life. The program also equips students with practical tools to face challenges such as teasing and bullying with kindness and confidence.

Assalam Alaikum,
We are looking forward to welcoming parents to our classrooms this week for Back-to-School Nights. This is a parent-only event. Limited childcare will be available in the Basketball Court at the Extended Care rate of $15/hour for Granada students who need it.
Back-to-School Night is a valuable opportunity to get to know your child’s teachers. Each teacher will have a 10–15 minute time slot to share their plans and expectations for the year. Please note that these brief sessions are not designed for individual questions or conferences. Parent–teacher conferences will be scheduled separately.

6pm: PK, 1st, 3rd, 5th
7pm: KG, 2nd, 4th

We welcome you all this year to our Pre-K classroom. It was a pleasure meeting you and all of your beloved children the first week of school. We look forward to a fun year full of learning and wonder inshaAllah.
Jazakum Allah khairan for dropping your children to class on time (7:45-8 am ) and picking them up also on time at 11:55-12:05 pm for half day and 3:15 pm for full day. Wednesday full day pick up is at 2 pm. The classroom door will open at that prompt time to make sure our students have an ample amount of time to prep for dismissal.
Daily Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedure for Pre-K Parents
Park in the MCA Parking Lot next to MCA Door #19 (closest to the Bookstore) and walk your child to class. Please exit from the same door. Door #19 is always open. Park in the same parking lot and use the same building entrance (Door #19) for pick up.
