1- Review the pronouns هو – هي نحن – أنا – أنتِ- أنتَ  and use the nouns and verbs and how it changes accordingly with the pronouns

2- Recognize the new vocabulary لقب – تلميذ في جامعة – في كلية

3- Complete the tables on pages 13- 18  

Students should recognize the change the تا المربوطة  when the pronouns are used in the sentences.

In this lesson students will be:

1-  Introduced into different nationalities in the Arab world such as; Palestinian , Jordanian, and so on 

2- Interpersonal communication 

Students will ask and answer questions about the age and languages they speak i.e.:

اسمي منير و عمري عشرون سنة أتكلم اللغة العربية و الأنجليزية 

3- Read pages 10- 11 in the reading and writing book 

End of Unit test Sept. 15th 

In this unit students  will be able to:

I- Students Around the World

1- Say their first name- last name - where they are from- nationality- the city they live in - are - hobbies and the languages they speak. 

2- Using the suffix  ي - some one else's name in either the feminine  ها  or masculine form ه . 

3- Addressing others using the pronoun أنتَ  أنتِ 

The suffix used with this form will change in the masculine and feminine. 

أنتَ كتابكَ   أنتِ كِتابُكِ 

Numbers

Students should be able to say the numbers in Arabic (ones and tens)

II- Nice to Meet you 

In this lesson students should be able to ask and answer questions based on the pronoun You أنتَ- أنتِ  and this  هذا - هذه 

Students can scan the bar on the side of each unit. 

Students can listen to the dialogue in their books and practice the reading and listening skills. 

We will be using مفتاح العربية this coming year.
