Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!
Message from the Director of Student Activities
Welcome back Granada Eagles! We are excited to start another school year full of memorable trips, amazing events and rewarding volunteer opportunities. Our trips for the year will include hiking through the majestic Yosemite Valley, embarking on a spiritual journey to do Umrah and experiencing college life on a 4-day Southern California tour. Don’t forget to join the Model United Nations team to learn the art of research, debate and persuasion and our Yearbook Club to contribute your creativity to the most highly anticipated book of the year. We are getting our pom poms ready and are voices prepped to cheer on our Cross Country, Volleyball and Basketball teams. Let’s Go Eagles! The High School Student Council will be coming back stronger than ever, so don’t miss your opportunity to run on September 6th to become a part of such a spirited team. There is always room to give back, so this year we will continue our partnerships with Camp Campbell (Cabin Leaders for 5th grade camp), Second Harvest Food Bank, Roots Health Clinic, Islamic Relief and Pious Projects. And of course, don’t forget to take part and volunteer at school-wide activities: Welcome Back Picnic, Eagle Run, STEAM Night, Read Across Granada Day, and Eid Activities. As you can see there is a lot planned and we are looking forward to a year of memorable experiences, insha’Allah.
