My name is Chris Kitchell and I am very excited to be a new member of the Grafton Public Schools. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Framingham State University as well as a Master’s degree in Special Education from Assumption College in Worcester, Ma. Since graduating from college, I have spent my entire career working in special education in both private and public settings. My experience includes starting out as Paraprofessional/Teacher’s Aide and advancing to a Special Education Teacher, Team Chair, Out of District Coordinator, and Lower School Director of a private special education school. The vast majority of my career experiences have taken place in Massachusetts, but I also worked for a brief time in Sarasota, Florida. I have been thoroughly impressed by the knowledge, dedication, and passion for student learning and success exhibited by my colleagues and I look forward to serving this community for years to come.

I live in Shrewsbury, MA, with my wife, Jessica, and my 1-year old black Labrador Retriever, Lucy. In my spare time I enjoy being active, I am an avid New England sports fan, and I also play the guitar. Go Gators!
