It's hard to believe we are coming up on the last few weeks of school! What an amazing school year it's been! It will be hard to let go of these wonderful 8th graders... and I look forward to an equally wonderful group of 7th graders next year!!!
We have been preparing for final exams in math and science. Study guide packets are being assigned every night now in pieces, and we are going over the answers the next day. We will do this every day leading up to the final exams on Friday, May 22nd (except while gone on the field trip).
*SCIENCE EXAM - covers the entire year of science
*8th and 9th GRADE MATH EXAM - covers the entire year of math
*7th GRADE MATH - a final project will be done in class
There will be no more homework in any subjects other than this final exam review packet. That way we can devote the whole rest of the time to preparing together.
I will be sending out an email a few days before our field trip next week (Tuesday and Wednesday, May 19-20) with last minute reminders and instructions. Did you get the packet sent home a few weeks ago on paper (and by digital email) with all the details of the trip? I will attach it again here.
8th grade graduation night is Thursday, May 28, at 6:30. I would encourage 7th grade students to join us in celebrating their classmates!
7th grade honor roll assembly will be Friday, May 29, at 11:00.
