Welcome to Falling Waters Elementary!  This is my 22nd year in education and my fourth year as a media specialist here at Falling Waters.  Prior to entering the Media Center I taught second grade.  I graduated with my undergraduate in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  I then graduated with my masters in Elementary Education and K-12 Library Media from the University of Nebraska - Omaha.

My husband, Eric, and I have four boys.  Drew attends Wayne State College, Dawson and Devin attend Millard West.  Dominic attends Beadle Middle School.  They keep us busy with baseball, football and band.

I am so excited to share my love of reading with students.  Having the opportunity to help students facilitate connections, discover new knowledge and find a passion for reading is my greatest joy as a teacher.

This is my first year as a paraprofessional. I have a degree in Political Science and Social Workfrom Colorado State University. I also attended Wayne State College and the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I have been a stay at home mom for about a year prior to that I worked for Boulder County Housing and Human Services in Colorado. I was born and raised in Grand Island, NE, I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado about 20 years ago. I have also spent short stints in Nevada, Oklahoma, and most recently Illinois.

My husband, Chris, and I have 2 daughters. Reagan is a second grader here at Falling Waters and was the impetus for my application to work at the school and Elydia is 2 years old and attends daycare.
