Greenfield High School along with Springfield Central High School will be in its second year of partnership with an organization called Global Glimpse. This is a two-year leadership development program that will enable 10 GHS students to travel to the Dominican Republic this summer. Last year 11 students from our school traveled to Nicaragua. The program targets high school juniors from low-income neighborhoods; students at a critical point in their development who have natural leadership skills, but lack opportunities to realize their full potential. The program components involve after-school workshops, international travel, and an alumni ambassador leadership program. Global Glimpse values the three leadership qualities of courage, compassion and commitment. This will be a life changing experience for each student.
